Rebecca Browning O'Hara and her daughter Katharine Barbara O'Hara (Kate) died on December 31, 2015. Rebecca O'Hara died at Amsterdam Nursing Home of natural causes at the age of 99. She is survived by her daughters The Reverend Ellen O'Hara, Terry E. O'Hara, Liza O'Hara Mercereau, Alice O'Hara, and Hedwig O'Hara; by her son Henry P. O'Hara; by her granddaughters Julie Rosado and Emily Bader; and her great grandchildren, Laila Sanchez and Jelani Sanchez. Katharine O'Hara died at Staten Island University Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 71. Rebecca O'Hara was a Registered Nurse who retired from Richmond Memorial Hospital. Katharine O’Hara had been employed during the 1980’s by McIntosh and Otis.
A memorial service is being held at Redden's Funeral Home at 325 West 14 Street NYC on Monday January 18, 2016 from 4pm to 6pm.
