Born January 11, 1961; passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 16, 2018. A resident of New York City and Hampton Bays, Long Island, Dan was the loving husband of Beth Waters, the proud father of Kitt and Miles, cherished son of Virginia Jaramillo, devoted brother of Marc Johnson, treasured uncle of Drew and Haley Johnson, and beloved cousin of Jason Trout. Loved and admired by his mother-in-law, Mary Yerden, sisters-in-law, Mary, Ann, Grace and Jennifer, and brothers-in-law, John and Steve, as well as his nieces and nephews, Grace, Victoria, Elizabeth, Jason, Jeremy, Caroline and Jack. Predeceased by his father, Daniel LaRue Johnson. Dan graduated from New York Institute of Technology with his Master’s in Computer Graphics Animation and, as a serial entrepreneur, designed and created interactive media. He loved his wife, children, family and friends. His passions included art, cooking, fishing, boating and enjoying life to its fullest!
