Obituary for Dr. Russell J. Perry
Dr. Russell J T Perry aged 61 of New York, NY passed away at Beth Israel Hospital on January 3, 2020.
The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on January 10, 2020 at The Church of St. Francis Xavier 46 W. 16th St between 5th and 6th Avenues with wheel accessibility at 55 W. 15th Street. Visitation will be held from 10 am-1:00 pm on January 10, 2020 at Redden’s Funeral Home, Inc 325 West 14th Street, New York, New York 10014.
Dr. Russel J T Perry was born in Trenton, NJ on November 11th, 1958. He graduated from Point Pleasant Boro High School, Point Pleasant. NJ and continued to receive a nursing degree from Ocean County College and Trenton State College and graduated with a Medical Degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies.
Russell worked as an MD in Family Practice at Valley Health System in Teaneck, NJ and Attending Physician at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. He immensely enjoyed his work, his colleagues and the patients he cared for. He was an inspiration to everyone he met. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in the Outer Banks in NC and in Fire Island and during numerous family celebrations as a Son, Brother Uncle and Second Father to numerous nieces and nephews.
He is survived by Desmond Larkin, Kleber Felipe Meira, Mother Frances L. Perry, Father Dr. Carl L. Perry, siblings Robin Perry Zoltowski, spouse Daniel Zoltowski, Dr. Randell Perry, spouse Scarlett Perry, Dr. Joseph Perry, spouse Gaylynn Perry, Lisa Perry Flerra, spouse James Flerra and several nieces and nephews, Diana Hannah, Ashlee Perry, Randall Scott Perry, Kaitlin Zoltowski, Ryan Zoltowski, Sean Perry, James Flerrra, Matthew Flerra, Michael Flerra.
Russell is preceded in death by Maternal Grandmother Dena Lewandowski, Maternal Grandfather Joseph Lewandowski, Paternal Grandfather Russell C. Perry, Paternal Grandmother Stella Mae Perry, Paternal Aunt Wanda Brower and Nephew Daniel Zoltowski
