Darryl Rahjeem Nyroon Charles Calier was born August 10th, 1986 at Brookdale University Hospital Brooklyn, NY to Audrey A. Calier and Darryl C. Hargett.
Educated in the New York City public school system Darryl participated in the I have a dream program. As a dreamer, Darryl had the opportunity to explore his creativity. Darryl was a writer before he lost the ability to use his hands. His mentor and friend Jeffry R. Gural guided and supported Darryl with his creative abilities as a dreamer, Darryl traveled and attended all the events the program provided in his youth. Developing bonds with his fellow dreamers they were able to experience life outside their neighborhood in Chelsea. He was a lover of the musical arts; our beloved brother understood and appreciated the artistry of the spoken word. Darryl worked as a part of the janitorial staff for Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
On March 13, 2021 after a long battle with his illness scleraderma our beloved Son, Brother, Uncle and friend was called home to the Lord.
